Baking pan converter
Tell us which pan the recipe expects and which pan is on your counter. We compare the usable surface area so the batter keeps roughly the same depth.
How the pan conversion works
Same depth, sensible amount of batter.
The tool divides the total surface area of your new pan setup by the original one. A result of 1.32× means you need 32% more of every ingredient. It works across shapes and across several pans, as long as you use the same unit for both.
What it cannot predict
Pan material, wall slope, batter type, and oven behavior all affect baking time. Temperature and time do not scale with the ingredient multiplier, so use doneness cues from the recipe and check early.
What this tool assumes
The formula and its limits are explained alongside the result.
One calculation is handy. A kitchen assistant is better.
